About Me

Judy Adams started working in the service & hospitality industry from the age of 15 and found her initial career path running hotels, where she honed her leadership skills in culturally diverse workplaces, that included people of different races, generations, ethnicities, religions, abilities, genders, and sexual orientation.
Through focused determination and the need to prove that she belonged in the world of business, Judy experienced stress induced “burn-out”. During the second episode, it was time to learn how to become resilient in the face of ever-growing performance pressure that business life can bring, and in order to continue to do what she loved and came naturally – leadership & problem-solving
Viewed as a “turn-around” specialist, Judy regularly uplifted underperforming business units within large national and international brands, where she also put sustainability and sustainable business practices that puts people, at the forefront of her success formula.
In her 30+ years of leadership experience, Judy has repeatedly built high-performing teams through clear strategic vision, emphasis on accountability, and the cultivation of honest relationships through a coaching style. Her strategy has included hiring personal coaches to challenge team executives to exceed business goals with a balanced focus on people, the planet & profit.
One of Judy’s most gratifying accomplishments was the development of a certification program for the Hospitality & Tourism Sector in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, industry partners, and Green Tourism UK. As Managing Director of the BC Partnership for Sustainable Tourism Society, a not-for-profit organization, Judy spearheaded the development of a Canadian Certification Program that continues to operate within a sustainability consultancy.
